So, I'm getting into embossing powders, more glitter, etc. I'm fascinated by all the ways you can change a picture! I only have clear detail embossing powder & am trying to make the most of it, since I have many pigments & glitters. I also only have a Versamark pad to play with (unless I get into my pigments, or stamping in color underneath). I did some experiments using the Close To My Heart "Flutter" Acrylix stamp set, Versamark, CTMH Clear Detail Embossing Powder, PearlEx Series 2 pink, and Stamping Station glitter:
1.
Mixing powdered pigment (PearlX) with the clear EP. Not too bad, but pigment doesn't just stay on the image. It also wipes off, but not completely. The left one was wiped with a Qtip.

2.
Mixing glitter with clear EP. I guess if you want a more solid image, you'd have to stamp in color 1st or use colored EP. You also have to make sure to get it completely heated or the glitter will rub off.

If you've worked with these kinds of mediums, place a comment and share!
